Pitta Essential Oils
Cooling, Soothing, and Harmonising Support
Pitta dosha is governed by the elements fire and water. When Pitta is balanced, it expresses as clarity, intelligence, and healthy metabolism. When excessive, Pitta often manifests as heat, inflammation, irritability, sharp emotions, perfectionism, skin sensitivity, acid digestion, and difficulty relaxing.
To pacify Pitta, essential oils must be cooling, calming, anti-inflammatory, and emotionally soothing, without further stimulating heat or intensity.
For this reason, I selected a focused set of four essential oils that support both physical and emotional Pitta balance.
These oils can be used aromatically, topically, and—in small, mindful amounts—culinarily.
The Selected Oils and Their Purpose
