This past year has unfolded very differently than I initially imagined. Where much of my work has traditionally lived in the intimacy of one-to-one practice, this year asked something else of me: to create, to translate, and to share Ayurveda in forms that travel further than a single consultation room.

As the year moved forward, it became increasingly clear that creation itself was the medicine. Each project arose from the same question I ask in clinical work:
How can Ayurvedic wisdom support people in their daily lives, in a way that is practical, embodied, and sustainable?

The Soul of Ayurveda: Wisdom You Can Hold

One of the most intimate creations of this year has been the initiation of The Soul of Ayurveda deck. More than an oracle, this deck is designed as a companion — a bridge between ancient knowledge and lived experience.

Every card in this deck is a mirror of your inner state — and a gentle medicine to restore balance.

The Soul of Ayurveda weaves together:

  • the doṣas, dhātus, and elemental principles

  • the chakras and subtle, cosmic influences

  • affirmations, contemplations, meditations, and healing touch

Rather than offering fortune-telling, the deck invites self-inquiry and education. It allows Ayurvedic principles to meet intuition, making wisdom accessible not just to practitioners, but to anyone drawn toward healing and self-understanding.

Whether you are newly curious about Ayurveda, a devoted student, or already walking a healing path, this deck is designed to guide you back into harmony — body, mind, and spirit. I want to finalize the deck in the new year.

Translating Ayurveda Into Words: A New Book

This year also marked a meaningful milestone: contributing as a co-author to the book Praktisch aan de slag met Ayurveda, which will be published in January.

Writing for this book offered a different kind of translation — bringing Ayurveda into clear, grounded language that supports people in taking their first practical steps. It is written for everyday life, with an emphasis on application rather than theory alone.

For me, this project reflects a deep belief: Ayurveda must be lived to be effective. More information to follow.

Divyananda: Daily Rituals Rooted in Tradition

Together with Veronica Rivera Santander, this year also gave birth to Divyananda — a women-owned, Ayurveda-rooted line of products created for daily ritual and preventative care.

Our shared love for formulation, touch, and sensory experience shaped every product. We create small-batch rituals using traditional wisdom combined with modern integrity, always guided by the question:
Does this support balance over time?

At Divyananda, wellness is more than a routine — it is a way of living in harmony with nature and oneself.
Our name means “divine bliss”, reminding us that true health and beauty radiate from within when the body and mind are nurtured with care.

Each product is an invitation to slow down, connect, and let daily care become a form of devotion rather than obligation.

Growing the Next Generation of Practitioners

Alongside these creations, my educational work continued to deepen.  I founded my Ayurvedic teaching institute, and recently, the second group of students began their Ayurvedic training. Witnessing students develop clinical skill, confidence, and embodied understanding is one of the most humbling aspects of my work. Education, to me, is another form of healing — one that ripples outward, reaching far beyond what any single practitioner can offer alone. I am super grateful to be able to do this with an amazing team of teachers.

Creation as Preventative Medicine

Looking back, each of these projects — the deck, the book, Divyananda, and the school — share a common thread: preventative medicine through daily relationship. Ayurveda teaches us that sustainable healing begins with small actions, repeated with intention. This year allowed those principles to take form in many ways — in objects held, words read, rituals practiced, and teachings passed on. As I move forward, this remains my focus: supporting people in building health that lasts, rooted not in urgency, but in rhythm, presence, and care.

A place where everything comes together

This past year, moving my practice to Van Beverningkstraat 118, at Savitri Sattoe’s saktiisha, has felt like a deeply aligned step — not only practically, but at heart level.

This space marked the beginning of bringing everything together — not just physically, but internally. My practice, teaching, creations, and my love for Ayurveda found a shared ground here.

What began as a move became a sense of coming home. A place where work, heart, and vision meet, supported by a collaboration rooted in trust and resonance.

I feel deeply grateful
